Anyone feel the need to be MOD?
Sun Apr 18, 2010 6:14 pm by meanwood_monks
Been thinking about this for a while now.

Some of you guys/gals have been here since day 1. Cheers for all your support over this time.
Was wondering if anyone was wanting to keep an eye on things and have MOD rights here.

PostSubject: Dewsbury Pioneer House - September '08   Fri Sep 26, 2008 1:37 pm

Picked a good day to do this one, was really nice sunny
Ok so this has been reported on a few times recently on a few other places. Couldn't miss this though, really nice building. Some fantastic stonework on the outside. Just a shame the inside wasnt in such a nice state. Still some really nice features in this place.
Clock tower was a death trap nearly broke my neck getting to that thing.
Spent a good couple of hours wondering around this place. Spent about 20 mins just chilling out on the roof Very Happy

On with the pictures....and a video to cheers

O look we found another vault.....well more of a safe but...ahhh forget it

The Tiles on these stairs where next level, really really nice.

The only remaining window left intact...

The clock tower, death trap but still interesting, got covered in poop though Suspect

Looking out from the clock tower, really nice view from here.

Hello Train cheers

More of that nice tile work

The once grand hall....not so anymore

A few of the shops

Found these on the way out, one dating back to 1894

Well thats it for the pictures, would have taken more but started to run out of power, and really wanted to get this video in. Enjoy

Hers a link untill i can get the embedding to work

Nice one mate. Good to see some different views of this place. Those tiles are quality. I wish my handwriting was as nice as this.
I love how a place appears for a few weeks months on the UE map, and then disappears again. Good pictures too.

Good work guys, great place isn't it. Shame the clocks got in such a state since we were there, looks like the hands are missing on one face, wouldn't want to be walking under them when they fell off Laughing Proper Indiana Jones shit getting up there Wink

Was wide open today, and looks like everything that was in it is now on the floor out side it. Tonnes of old receipts and books. Dating right back, think the earliest I found was 1894.

They'd been cleared out when we went, but the only way into the safe then was through the hole in wall above the safe. I tried squeezeing through but got stuck Laughing
