Anyone feel the need to be MOD?
Sun Apr 18, 2010 6:14 pm by meanwood_monks
Been thinking about this for a while now.

Some of you guys/gals have been here since day 1. Cheers for all your support over this time.
Was wondering if anyone was wanting to keep an eye on things and have MOD rights here.

Visited this evening with ultrix. Only a few shots as the visibility in the tunnel was dreadful, you could'nt see your hand in front of your face in most places. oh and it was snowing outside, lol.

It was thick of mist when I did it in Summer mate. I've heard others say it wasn't bad when they went in.

It was an absolute nightmare in there to photo cos of the mist and to add to that my lens kept steaming up Sad. We thought it was just because of the weather but if it was like that in the middle of summer its a very strange tunnel ?? were there quite a few roof colapses when you were there ?

Yeah it was full sun and warm out when I did Clayton. Sandsend tunnel is another one that's bad for mist. That's sea fret that comes up the side passage half way in. I could actually see the mist blow out of the portal when I did it.
There was one real bad collapse in Clayton yes. I must admit that is one tunnel I wasn't happy been in. You could tell not many people had done it before. There was no litter, zero atmosphere and the mist was very thick. It was silently eerie for sure. To say how bad the mist was
I got some of the clearest pictures the whole length of the tunnel. I can't work that one out at all.
My set is here

Nice one awwrisp, the colours are great.

I've not done a tunnel yet but I'm slowly starting to get the urge thanks to some of the pics on here.
