Anyone feel the need to be MOD?
Sun Apr 18, 2010 6:14 pm by meanwood_monks
Been thinking about this for a while now.

Some of you guys/gals have been here since day 1. Cheers for all your support over this time.
Was wondering if anyone was wanting to keep an eye on things and have MOD rights here.

PostSubject: Healey Mills Goods Yard (29 images)   Mon Jun 21, 2010 6:55 am

I finally got around to looking around this place. I spent a good 2 hours or so looking around and taking my time to get some decent shots - A great days explore to do.

Quick History
Code:
This is Healey Mills goods yard located in Healey near Horbury/Ossett. Images inside the mill are from the maintenance shed. Work on the goods yard begin in late 1959 and was finished around Autumn of 1960 - The site is 140 acres. The maintenance shed was last used in 1987. This goods yard was once the largest marshelling yard in England and Europe. 57 miles of track was used for the contruction of this site.

A warehouse near the maintenance shed which is also abandoned.. I think

Outside the maintenance shed

Inside a disused carrage outside the maintenance shed

The colourful door inside

Some stairs which I didn't really want to go up

3 stitch pano at the top of the stairs

URBEX CHAIR!

Old rail passes of some sort.
I've scanned these and will link to them at the end of this post.

Natural lighting with 50mm <3

Texture

The old staff room

I had to get this pattern at some point Very Happy
